We have a deviantART group! The members that also have a dA account can join this or watch it, and share their art with the visitors of the group. So you don't have to join dA to enjoy this group. I mainly started it because I have been left with too little time to create art to accompany the wiki and the stories. With the collected favourites of other artists at dA, we can at least look at some inspiration. Hopefully someone will feel inspired to draw or pixel a few characters from Steamhawke and share it through the group.

In other news, Mate Akito Himuro is no longer an active player, due to real life demands. The writer has offered the character as an npc or for someone else to play. You can still use Akito and his mechanical arm in your posts, though, until we decide what to do with him.

And lastly, the second chapter has started. The map was revealed to be ... half a map of two locations! Apparently the captain knows where the other half is, so I expect she will be going after it. More will be revealed soon. This means we know the general direction of the current chapter, but that does not mean you have to write your character into this. You can explore relationships with other characters or npc's, or talk to another character about your character's life long wishes and dreams, and see if they can help your character out.

I also like to clear up any misunderstanding about posting frequency. Though you can certainly post as much as you want to, don't feel bad if you can't post more than once per chapter. If you really will be away for more than 3 weeks, please let me know, and use the LOA (Leave of absence) link in your control panel.

Let's just keep having fun and not get stressed :)
